Colt achieved a 50.6% growth in profits per year over the three years to 2009, which increased from £2.1m in 2006 to £7.2m in 2009, putting it in 76th place in the league table.

The company's policy of controlled expansion has continued to develop successfully, as Colt has entered new markets and secured involvement in major projects around the world.
